I have been in public practice since my Career began in 2006. I began my accounting journey as a Graduate Accountant at a firm in Fremantle.
It is whilst working here that I finished my degree at Murdoch University with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Minor in Business Law. I then went on to a mid-tier firm in Mandurah where I worked as a Business Services Manager. It is there I completed my studies to become a CPA. In my previous positions, I have worked with an extensive range of businesses in various industries to achieve their compliance needs. My experience has also involved setting up many medical practices and working closely with General practitioners. I am genuinely interested in helping clients achieve their goals through dependable and timely accounting advice. I also extremely enjoy and have 10 years’ experience completing financial accounts and tax returns for self-managed superannuation funds.
Having worked in the public practice industry since 2002, I have developed a real passion for accounting and tax. I may sound like a nerd but I truly love and enjoy my job which makes it easy going to work everyday.
Over my career, my knowledge expanded exponentially and I have grown on all levels. I genuinely care for all clients regardless of their size. Every client is a VIP. It’s fulfilling seeing clients happy.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, going on hikes around Perth and attending to my veggie patch.

Having grown up in Albany and with over 18 years’ experience in public practice, I have been fortunate to work with clients from a wide range of industries; from farmers, lawyers, engineers and everyone in between.
I enjoy helping clients to grow their businesses successfully and ultimately achieve their financial life goals. What makes the role rewarding is the challenge in solving all kinds of tax issues from the straightforward to complex.
I began my career with four years of hands-on bookkeeping experience before stepping into tax accounting in 2013, shortly after earning my Bachelor of Commerce degree. To strengthen my skills and better support my clients, I took on the challenge of a postgraduate diploma and became a Chartered Accountant. I pride myself on providing tailored tax solutions that help individuals, businesses and self-managed super funds stay compliant and financially confident.
Outside of work, I volunteer with the Riding for the Disabled, helping with horse care and therapeutic riding lessons.
I grew up in India and moved to Australia to complete Masters of Commerce and Professional Accounting from Federation University in Sydney in 2015. I moved to Perth two years ago and joined Heaney Business Group in September 2024. Since then, I’ve really enjoyed being part of such a supportive and friendly team.

I moved to Perth from India to study Masters of Professional Accounting in 2015. After completing my degree from Edith Cowan University I began working as an Assistant accountant in a local firm.
I strive to deliver to the best of my abilities and develop great client relationships. I began working at Heaney Business Group in February 2020 and I am grateful to Gemma and the amazing team for being my support.
Outside of work I enjoy reading books, spend time with my family and love horse riding.
With over a decade of experience in working in a medium size practice I have worked with a diverse client base including but not limited to an extensive involvement with Self-Managed Superannuation Funds. Other areas of interest include Medical Practices, the Agricultural and Construction Industries and many different small to large size enterprises.

I am currently studying Law & Business Double Degree ( majoring in accounting) at Murdoch University. I joined Heaney Business Group in July 2021 with the intention to gain as much knowledge and experience which would aid my studies.

I am an experienced bookkeeper with over 3 years experience in public practice. I am certified in Xero payroll and Xero advisor and love assisting clients in getting the most out of their accounting software. I believe having a good bookkeeper will mean you can get accurate and up to date information about your business to ensure you can plan and manage your financials and ensure the success of your business. Outside of work, I love gardening, cycling and spending time with my family.
I have been working in Administration positions for the last decade in varied roles, mainly within Community Services. I began working at HBG in August 2018 and it is awesome to be working with a small local firm with amazing hard working staff. My goal is to be accommodating and deliver great customer service to all our clients and to be as helpful as I can.
